How to setup your email account in Gmail

1. Login to your Gmail account

2. Click the Settings Button in the upper right hand corner (the gear icon)

3. In the drop down, click "Settings”...

      

4. Click "Accounts and Import

5. In the section labeled "Check mail from other accounts:" click the "Add a POP3 mail account you own" button

    

6. Type in your Email Account (example: you@yoursite.com) and click "Next Step"

7. Fill in all the Incoming Email Server Information and click "Add Account
    (be sure to set all of your other settings as shown below!)

      

8. Choose Yes, I want to be able to send mail as you@yoursite.com and click "Next Step"

      

9. Type in your Name as you would like your recipients to read it, uncheck the box that says "Treat as an alias", and click "Next Step

     

10. Fill in the Outgoing Email Server Information and click "Add Account
       (be sure to set all of your other settings as shown below!)

     
 
11. Login to Webmail (usually webmail.yoursite.com, but of course YOUR website) and get the login Code from Gmail (they send it to you immediately)

12. Paste the code in and click "Verify" and the popup window closes.

     

13. Test to confirm you can SEND emails to this address by going to another email account and sending to the new address you just added to Gmail.

14. Test to confirm you can RECEIVE emails at this address by sending a test email to another address you own or a friend's email address.
